Joule Cloud is a green neocloud built by openIE. The product is one mesh of compute, sold as managed services — Inference (OpenAI-compatible), Compute, Functions, JouleDB (Postgres + Arrow columnar), Object Store (S3-compatible), and Meet. Every API call is billed in joules consumed at the silicon, with a signed energy receipt covering what ran, where, on which chip, with what carbon intensity. The router places workloads on the cheapest capable silicon across a 16-node backbone in EU and US regions. Sign-up takes a minute; you put $5 on file and start shipping.
